What shows on a participant's FlowPoint roster and messages?
Published shifts, shared notes and documents: what controls what a participant sees in FlowPoint.
Key Points
A participant sees a shift in FlowPoint only once it's published on the Roster Schedule.
Notes and Communication Book records show in FlowPoint only when their FlowPoint option is ticked.
Documents appear as soon as the record exists, unless it's hidden from FlowPoint.
FlowPoint doesn't notify participants about new shifts or messages.
The roster in FlowPoint
FlowPoint shows the participant's published shifts. Unpublished shifts don't show. See How do I publish shifts so staff can see them?
If a published shift is missing, open it on the Roster Schedule and save it again. This can happen with shifts created from a template.
Messages and notes
To share a note or Communication Book entry with a participant, tick its FlowPoint option when you create the record, such as Push to FlowPoint. The name of this option can differ between Forms.
Messages a participant sends from FlowPoint appear on the Communication tab of their client record.
You can reply to a participant's FlowPoint message, but we recommend replying by email or the way you usually contact them.
Participants can't upload files to FlowPoint.
Documents
Service agreements show in FlowPoint by default. Contact FlowLogic Support to show other Forms.
A document shows as soon as it's saved. To keep a record out of FlowPoint, use its FlowPoint setting to hide it.
Participants can sign signature fields on shared documents.
