How do I set up FlowPoint access for a participant and reset their password?
Set a participant's FlowPoint username and password, reset it, preview their portal and fix login problems.
Key Points
A participant can use FlowPoint once their FlowPoint Username and FlowPoint Password are filled in on their client record.
Participants log in at your FlowPoint address, not the FlowLogic login page.
Participants can change their own password in FlowPoint. After that, the password saved in FlowLogic no longer works.
Staff with FlowPoint admin access can preview FlowPoint as a participant.
Setting up a participant's login
Open the client's record and go to their basic details.
Scroll to the bottom and enter a FlowPoint Username and FlowPoint Password.
Save the record.
Give the participant your FlowPoint address, their username and their password.
Once these fields are saved, they can't be changed on the record, so check them before you save. To set up logins for many participants at once, contact FlowLogic Support.
Resetting a participant's password
If the participant changed their password in FlowPoint and has forgotten it, a FlowPoint admin can reset it from the FlowPoint admin view. If you can't, contact FlowLogic Support.
Previewing FlowPoint as a participant
Staff with FlowPoint admin access can sign in to the FlowPoint admin side with their FlowLogic login and preview a participant's portal. A banner shows you're previewing as an admin. Ask your FlowLogic administrator if you need this access.
A participant can't log in
Check they're using your FlowPoint client address, not the admin address (ending in /admin/) or the FlowLogic login page.
Check they haven't added www. to the address.
Check their client record is active, not archived.
Check the username and password are the right way round.
If they changed their password in FlowPoint, the one saved in FlowLogic won't work.
