Why does FlowLogic keep logging me out?
Why FlowLogic logs you out when idle and how to avoid losing work.
Key Points
FlowLogic logs you out after a period of inactivity to keep client information safe. The usual time is 30 minutes.
FlowLogic only counts you as active when you open a new page or save. Typing on a page doesn't count.
To avoid losing work, save long notes regularly, or write them somewhere else first and paste them in.
Your organisation can ask our Support team to change the time, up to 4 hours. It applies to everyone.
Why it happens
Every organisation has a set idle time. If you don't open a page or save anything for that long, you're logged out, even if you were typing. If you have FlowLogic open in more than one browser tab, you may need to log in again on each tab.
Avoid losing work
Save long case notes or forms every few minutes.
If a Form has a draft option, save as a draft as you go.
Write very long notes in another program first, then paste them in and save.
Change the idle time
Your organisation's idle time is set by FlowLogic. The options are 5, 15 or 30 minutes, or 1, 2 or 4 hours. A longer time is more convenient but less secure, especially on shared computers. To change it, ask your administrator to contact our Support team.
Logged out for another reason
If you can't log back in, see How do I reset my FlowLogic password?
If your 2FA code isn't accepted, see Why isn't my 2FA code working?
If you or an admin changed your password, FlowLogic signs you out everywhere, including the FlowLogic Workforce app. Log in again with the new password.
