How do I fix clock on and off times on a timesheet?

FlowLogic keeps the actual clock on and off times. Use Match Time in Timesheet Management to set a timesheet back to the rostered shift times.

Key Points

  • When staff clock on and off, FlowLogic records their actual clock on and clock off times on the timesheet. It doesn't change them.

  • If the times are wrong, for example because a staff member forgot to clock off, the timesheet approver can fix them in Timesheet Management.

  • Match Time sets the timesheet's start and end times to the rostered shift times in one click.

How clock times get onto a timesheet

When a staff member clocks off, FlowLogic finds the time they clocked on and the time they clocked off and puts both on the timesheet. The staff member then submits the timesheet. The times stay exactly as clocked, even if they're a few minutes before or after the rostered shift.

Fix the times with Match Time

Use Match Time when a staff member forgot to clock off, clocked off late, or had a problem clocking on or off, and should be paid for the rostered shift.

  1. Go to Timesheet Management and find the timesheet.

  2. Click View to open it.

  3. Click Match Time. The start and end times change to the start and end of the rostered shift attached to the timesheet.

  4. Check the times, then save or approve the timesheet.

Match Time only works when a rostered shift is attached to the timesheet. If the times need to be something other than the rostered times, edit the start and end times on the timesheet instead.

To see the Match Time button, you need access to Timesheet Management and the timesheet_match_time Right. If you can't see it, an administrator can add the Right to your Group, otherwise ask FlowLogic Support.

If times are changing on their own

If timesheet times are changing without anyone editing them, your organisation may have automatic matching, rounding or stretching of times turned on. Contact our Support team to check your settings.
